AgileSource are looking for a commercially driven Sales Director with experience across Financial Services and the Public Sector, a strong network of senior contacts, and the ability to blend sales and marketing into a powerful growth engine.

We’re looking for a high-impact leader to drive revenue, lead our marketing function, and commercialise our offering as we scale.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will bring together sales and marketing under a unified commercial strategy. You won’t just lead pipeline generation – you’ll shape how we position ourselves in the market, how we engage clients, and how we turn opportunity into long-term value.

You’ll play a critical role in professionalising and commercialising what we do, ensuring both sales execution and marketing strategy are aligned to growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a joined-up sales and marketing strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Leverage your network (“black book”) to open doors and accelerate deal flow
  • Lead and develop the marketing function, ensuring strong brand positioning and demand generation
  • Identify and unlock new opportunities across Financial Services and Public Sector markets
  • Build relationships with C-level stakeholders, procurement leaders, and policy decision-makers
  • Drive pipeline development, conversion, and account expansion
  • Shape value propositions, go-to-market strategy, and pricing models
  • Instil a commercial mindset across the organisation, aligning teams to growth objectives

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sales Director / Commercial Leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology services or a related advisory environment.
  • Strong established network of senior contacts and decision-makers
  • Demonstrated success in winning large, complex deals
  • Experience overseeing or working closely with marketing teams (brand, campaigns, lead generation)
  • Ability to align marketing with sales outcomes and measurable ROI
  • Track record of commercialising products or services in growth-oriented environments
  • Strong understanding of regulated sectors and public sector procurement processes
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale
