Content and speech writer

Our client is seeking a skilled and thoughtful Content & Speech Writer to shape our written voice across speeches, reports, and digital platforms. This is a role for a communicator who thrives in complexity-someone who can distil strategic and technical ideas into clear, resonant narratives that reflect our values and speak with authority.

You'll be at the heart of our communications, supporting senior leaders and programme teams with writing that is purposeful, precise, and deeply aligned with our clients mission.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll work across formats and audiences to:
Craft speeches, keynote addresses, and briefing notes for senior leadership
Write and edit strategic reports, prospectuses, and thought-leadership pieces
Develop digital content for our website and online platforms
Shape narratives for government, industry, and public audiences
Collaborate with designers and programme leads to ensure consistency and impact

About You
You're a writer who brings clarity to complexity and voice to vision. You'll have:
Proven experience in speechwriting, strategic content creation, and professional communications
Strong storytelling and editing skills across formats and audiences
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and translating their ideas into compelling copy
Proficiency with writing and editing tools, and adaptability to new platforms
A sharp eye for tone, structure, and detail-balancing creativity with precision
The ability to write with accessibility, authority, and authenticity

This role is INSIDE IR35 and will require 2 days remote and 3 days on site in either London or York
