SC/DV Cleared - Senior Linux Engineer

AgileSource is seeking an SC-cleared Senior Linux Engineer for a 12-month contract, Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimise Linux-based platforms: Lead the architecture, implementation, hardening, and continuous improvement of Linux operating systems, platform services, and supporting infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
Drive incident and problem management: Take ownership of high-severity incident response, advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and long-term remediation.
Establish engineering best practice: Define and enhance standards, patterns, and automation strategies-including configuration management, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and repeatable operational processes.
Collaborate across technical domains: Work closely with architecture, security, network, cloud, and service management teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards, regulatory obligations, and availability targets.
Shape long-term platform strategy: Contribute to technology roadmaps, life cycle management, capacity planning, and future-state architecture design to enable organisational growth and transformation.

Clearance Requirement:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, active DV Clearance will be required.
