Product and Data Manager (PIM)
We’re proud to be partnering with an established and evolving business in Suffolk who are looking for a Product and Data Manager on a permanent basis in a newly created role.
As Product and Data Manager in this people-focused organisation, it will be your job to manage and optimise the Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring product data is accurate, consistent, and aligned across the organisation.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about data quality, system integration, and improving how product information supports business goals and customer experience.
**This is a hybrid working role with additional flexibility around working hours if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance product data models, attributes, taxonomies, and workflows within the PIM.
- Champion data governance standards and ensure accuracy and completeness across all channels.
- Use and manage the PIM system for product information publishing.
- Configure syndication templates, map attributes, normalise data, and ensure accurate publication to marketplaces.
- Support and maintain integrations between PIM, ERP, and eCommerce platforms.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic techniques and collaboration across teams.
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on PIM functionality and best practices.
- Work closely with IT, Product, Marketing, and eCommerce teams to ensure data supports commercial objectives
- Act as a champion for product data excellence, customer experience, and ESG principles.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–3 years’ experience in PIM/MDM or product data management
- Strong knowledge of data modelling (families, attributes, hierarchies, workflows, validation rules) and governance best practices
- Understanding of data exchange methods (REST/JSON APIs, CSV, SFTP) and PIM–ERP–eCommerce integrations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational abilities
Desirable:
- Experience integrating PIM with other platforms
- Basic understanding of access management and data security
- Working knowledge of CRM administration
