Systems Strategy Consultant
Agilis Search is partnering with a growing retail business in the UK who are looking for a Systems Strategy Consultant to join them on a contract basis.
After a strong growth phase, they are investing in a modern, scalable systems platform to support what comes next and they’re planning to move to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as their core ERP, alongside existing POS, finance, and a bespoke internal system.
As Systems Strategy Consultant you’ll review their systems strategy, challenge the thinking, identify risks and gaps, and help the Board understand whether the approach is right, scalable, and deliverable for a complex retail business.
This is a pure advisory engagement, not an implementation.
What you’ll do
- Review the Business Central-led systems strategy and roadmap
- Assess fit with current POS, finance, stock, and bespoke systems
- Evaluate integrations across retail, warehouse, e-commerce, and reporting
- Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
- Provide clear, practical recommendations
- Produce a short report and present findings to the Board
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV
- Proven background in ERP strategy or transformation reviews
- Solid understanding of multi-site retail and complex inventory
- Credible, confident working with senior leaders and Boards

- Project-based (around 4–8 weeks)
