We're working with a fast-growing AI start-up who are building domain-specific training and evaluation for frontier AI labs — bringing real professional judgment from finance, healthcare, and legal into how the next generation of models actually reason.

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the founder as a true second-in-command — not a coordinator, but someone who sees everything the founder sees and owns meaningful pieces of the business outright.

This role is not for everyone. It's fast-paced, high-intensity, and genuinely demands full commitment — including weekends when the moment calls for it. In return: outsized ownership, direct exposure to how frontier AI labs actually build and evaluate their models, and a seat at the table for real strategic decisions.

What you'll do:

• Act as a true extension of the founder — full visibility, not a filtered subset of it
• Own projects end-to-end, from ambiguous starting points to shipped outcomes
• Take things off the founder's plate entirely, not just support them
• Work directly on initiatives tied to frontier AI labs
• Move fast — turn decisions into action without waiting for detailed instructions

What we're looking for:

• Early career in investment banking or top-tier consulting (~2–4 years)
• Followed by real operating experience at a fast-moving startup, ideally founder-facing
• A demonstrated bias to action — comfortable making calls with incomplete information
• Genuine curiosity about how AI models are trained and evaluated
• Full buy-in on the intensity — this is not a work-life-balance role, and we'd rather you self-select out now than six months in
