We’re partnering with a high-growth consumer brand to hire their first AI Automation Lea d — a pivotal role focused on scaling the business to £50M+ ARR without proportional headcount growth.

This is a rare opportunity to build a n AI-first operating syst em inside a real, revenue-generating business — not a sandbo x.

The Role

You’ll work directly with senior leadership to identify, build, and deploy automation across the business — from supply chain to retail operations.

This is a hands-on builder r ole with strategic influence.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and implem ent end-to-end automation workf lows across ops, supply chain, and B2B retail
  • Build agent-based systems to replace manual processes
  • Standardise and own the company-wide AI tooling stack
  • Run workshops to identify high-impact use cases across teams.
  • Dr ive adoption and trai ning for non-technical users
  • Continuously improve and maintain workflows (not just ship and leave)

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience bui lding real automation that replaces human work.
  • Strong hands-on capability with tools like Zapier, Make, APIs, GPT-based systems.
  • Operator mindset — you understand how businesses actually run.
  • Comfortable working across functions and navigating ambiguity.
  • High velocity: you ship quickly and iterate.

Nice to Have

  • Background in product engineering and a Computer Science background.
  • Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups
  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or back-office systems.
  • Experience building interoperable tool ecosystems.
