Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a SaaS Sales Development Representative (SDR) specialising in new business acquisition, based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The SDR will focus on sourcing and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting outreach to potential clients, scheduling meetings, managing prospects through the sales stages to close and collaborating closely with the broader Teams. Additional responsibilities include using internal and external tools to prospect and maintaining accurate CRM records in Hubspot.

We are looking for a driven and commercially minded SDR to fuel our growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for your prospective customers, playing a critical role in building pipeline and shaping how AiSentr engages with the market.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of marketing and sales—turning interest into opportunity. You’ll engage prospects, uncover pain points, and position AiSentr as a solution to inefficiencies caused by manual processes, fragmented data, and overreliance on tools like Excel across core business functions.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and research target accounts across key industries where AI-driven workflow automation can deliver impact.
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate qualified meetings.
  • Personalise outreach based on industry challenges, such as manual workflows, data silos, and inefficient processes.
  • Manage and maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads.

Qualification & Discovery

  • Engage inbound and outbound leads to understand their business challenges and assess fit.
  • Ask thoughtful discovery questions to uncover pain points related to workflow inefficiencies and AI adoption.
  • Qualify opportunities using defined criteria and hand off to Account Executives with clear context.

Collaboration & Feedback

  • Work closely with Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and target personas.
  • Provide feedback from the market to help shape product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to improve conversion rates and pipeline progression.

Process & Optimisation

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM, ensuring all activities and insights are logged.
  • Continuously test and optimise outreach strategies, messaging, and sequences.
  • Stay up to date with AiSentr’s product capabilities and the evolving AI landscape.

What We’re Looking For

  • >3 years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar outbound role within a software or SaaS environment.
  • Strong communication skills: You can clearly articulate value propositions and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial curiosity: You ask the right questions to uncover real business problems.
  • Resilience and consistency: You are comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts (AI, automation, SaaS) in a simple, business-focused way.
  • Have a clear understanding of core funtions within businesses.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.

Bonus Points

  • Experience selling or prospecting into AI, data, or automation-related solutions.
  • Familiarity with industries heavily reliant on manual processes or legacy systems.
  • Track record of exceeding activity or pipeline generation targets.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
