Delivery Manager
Delivery Manager required for a Fixed Term Contract that will be initially for 12 months. The business is a high-growth organisation and they would like someone that has experience of working across multiple clients and sectors. The role is predominantly WFH, but there will be 1-2 days onsite per month near Bristol.
Delivery Manager Role
- Help ensure a seamless transition from the Sales team to Delivery by completing early-stage setup tasks (e.g. capturing risks and dependencies, verifying budgets, validating scopes of work, and mobilising teams).
- Work closely with subject matter experts to draft technical documentation and obtain client approval.
- Drive project execution using Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheets, or similar platforms.
- Keep project progress transparent with tracking materials such as risk logs, regular updates, burn-down charts, and milestone plans.
- Oversee testing phases and confirm readiness for go-live, coordinating any last-mile tasks.
- Manage transitions to support teams or managed services, ensuring SLAs and documentation are in place.
- Organise and run project closure activities, including post-launch reviews and structured feedback sessions.
Delivery Manager Experience
- 2 to 5 years in a client-facing role focused on delivery (e.g. Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Account Manager), preferably within digital consulting or marketing-focused environments.
- Familiarity with how digital solutions are produced, including typical workflows and stakeholder touchpoints.
- Confident working with Agile and Lean methodologies, while also being flexible to operate within Waterfall or hybrid delivery styles when needed.
- Hands-on use of project and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps, monday.com, Jira, or Smartsheets.
- Proven experience coordinating mixed-discipline teams that could include roles in engineering, architecture, quality assurance, and Data.
- High attention to detail with a track record of delivering polished, accurate outputs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially around risk, reporting, and project status.
- Ability to juggle several projects in a dynamic setting, staying calm under pressure while keeping things on track.
