Power Platform Developer

On a day-to-day basis, the power platform developer will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot and related Microsoft technologies. The role will work closely with internal departments and external clients to identify process improvement opportunities, automate manual tasks, develop business applications, and implement AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy and user experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in building a scalable automation framework that supports both internal digital transformation and client-facing consultancy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and adopt automation practices using PowerShell, Power Platform, or other tooling to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
• Participate fully in scrums, handovers, maintaining clear and structured communication of risks, actions, and service status
• Support operations around a new focus for AI initiative
• Troubleshooting issues, managing escalations and implementing long-term improvements.
• Producing documentation, user guidance and training materials.
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge articles, runbooks, and operational standards.
• Contributing to platform governance, best practices, roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.

Within the role, you’ll become someone that business units can rely on when they need support with operational improvements.

You will help to create and develop an automation framework to allow for rapid evolution of processes to match business requirements. You will constantly look for opportunities to improve processes and take improvements from working with one business unit to the wider business.
