Growth Path: Business Insights Specialist & Analyst → Lead Business Insights & Product Analyst → Head of Analytics & Product Strategy

What You Will Do

Funnel Analysis, Product Experimentation & Testing: Optimize Claim Conversion Funnel

  • Segment funnel performance by geography, claim type (delays, cancellations, overbooking, baggage), device, traffic source, and user cohort.
  • Design and execute experiments (A/B tests, multivariate tests, quasi-experiments) to evaluate product features, UX changes, pricing strategies, and messaging, as well as claim submission and approval rates.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior, retention, churn, and conversion patterns.
  • Identify opportunities across user segments: airline, route, geography, acquisition source, etc.
  • Translate experiment results into clear, actionable recommendations for Product and Leadership teams.

Build Core Metrics & Decision-Support Dashboards

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses: cohort analysis, user behavior patterns, segment performance, market trends, etc.
  • Build and maintain core product metrics, including conversion rate, approval rate, revenue per visitor, customer lifetime value (LTV), and claim success rate.
  • Build dashboards and reports to monitor real-time product performance against key KPIs.
  • Track key metrics: claim conversion rate by stage, approval rate, average claim value, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, retention, churn by segment and geography.

Strategic Insights & Roadmap Support

  • Support legal/operations teams with data insights to improve claim validation and approval rates.

Explore New Products & Cross-Industry Inspiration

  • Evaluate new product opportunities and validate with data on customer demand.
  • Look beyond the travel/airline industry for inspiration: How do startups and established companies in other B2C industries diversify revenue streams? Could similar models work for AirAdvisor?

Discover & Expand Into New Geographic Markets

  • Analyze claim potential by country: research flight frequency, passenger volumes, regulatory environment (EU261, Montreal Convention), competitor presence, average claim value, etc.
  • Prioritize expansion targets and build business cases with TAM (Total Addressable Market), customer acquisition potential, and revenue projections.
  • Monitor performance by geography in existing markets and identify high-opportunity segments.
  • Recommend a market entry strategy for timing, messaging, partnerships, and regulatory considerations.
