In this pivotal role, you will:

Main duties of the job

Qualifications & Training
- oDegree level qualification or equivalent experience
- oPost graduate qualification in a health or leadership related subject.
- oMember of a relevant professional body
- oEvidence of sustained personal and professional development.
- oCertified Healthcare CIO (CHIME)
Experience
- oSignificant experience in large and complex organisations
- oExperience of working at Board level
- oHas led business intelligence and digital functions in health.
- oDemonstrable ability to devise policy and strategy.
- oGood understanding of the NHS and the national technology strategies and involvement in the production of local (organisation) or sector wide strategies.
- oDemonstrable success in delivering change and performance with and through your management and clinical teams.
- oExperience of the negotiation and management of high value hardware, software, and service contracts with major suppliers.
- oStrong experience of staff and financial management
- oInterpreting and providing context to data and present information in reports.
- oEngaging stakeholders to agree and manage digital and data requirements.
- oDeveloping and maintaining contact networks within the local and National Health Economy
- oDeep understanding of performance management and NHS performance requirements
- oHas an exceptional understanding of national data flows and opportunities.
