Infectious Disease Analyst

About the Role
As an Infectious Disease Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality scientific, regulatory, market access and commercial analysis. Your insights will directly inform strategic decisions in global health and life sciences.
You’ll work at the intersection of:
- Vaccines, anti-virals and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs)
- Regulatory strategy and global approval pathways
- Market access, pricing and reimbursement dynamics
- Commercial performance and competitive positioning
This is a highly visible role with opportunities to lead workstreams, engage directly with clients, and help shape the future of Airfinity’s infectious disease analytics offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate scientific, regulatory and commercial data into clear, high-impact insights for clients
- Provide infectious disease subject matter expertise (vaccines, anti-virals, mAbs) in client engagements and proposals
- Analyse global pricing, reimbursement, market access pathways and post-marketing performance
- Interpret regulatory milestones (pre- and post-approval) in a commercial and competitive context
- Develop new data sources, analytics methodologies and insight frameworks
- Lead workstreams and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality client outputs
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree in life sciences or related field with relevant professional experience
- Strong expertise in infectious diseases and clinical development pathways
- Solid understanding of global regulatory processes and market dynamics
- Experience in market access and commercial analytics (pricing, reimbursement, access strategy)
- Ability to synthesise complex data into compelling strategic insights
- Strong analytical and presentation skills (R/Python/Excel + PowerPoint), with excellent attention to detail
Desirable (Nice-to-have):
- Professional working proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken)
