ION Developer

Java Developer - ION Platform - Contract

We are seeking a seasoned Java Developer with deep expertise in trading platforms and specifically outstanding knowledge of the ION ecosystem. The role involves building and supporting low-latency, multi-threaded systems for Rates and Credit markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain trading applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Integrate and support ION MarketView, XTP, Fidessa, and Treasury Suite platforms.
• Collaborate with global teams in Agile environments.
• Implement RESTful APIs and cloud-native solutions.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years Java development experience.
• Strong multi-threading and low-latency programming.
• Deep understanding of financial instruments (Rates, Credit, Derivatives).
• Proven experience with ION platforms and FIX protocol.
• Familiarity with functional programming and SOLID principles.
