Job Title: Solution Architect – Customer Identity & Access (CIPM)
Duration: Initial 12 month contract
Workload: Full time hours
Setup: Day rate contract inside IR35
Location: London (Hybrid)
Overview:
We are looking for a hands‐on Solution Architect who deeply understands large‐scale customer identity platforms. Someone who can design and govern CIPM/CIAM architectures, ensure secure customer authentication using OAuth2/OIDC, and handle privacy, consent and regulatory compliance for tens of millions of users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior individual contributor delivering solution architecture, consultancy and design assurance across complex identity programmes.
- Design and govern Customer Identity Profile Management (CIPM) solutions aligned with enterprise standards and reference architectures.
- Translate architecture standards and guidelines into practical, scalable solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Provide architectural leadership for customer authentication and identity platforms operating at large scale.
- Apply enterprise architecture tools and methodologies to create, manage and reuse architecture artefacts.
- Engage senior business and IT stakeholders, influencing decisions at leadership level.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps across cloud, integration, security and identity domains.
- Support and mentor other architects and technical professionals as required.
Must‐Have Skills:
- Strong CIPM / CIAM architecture experience
- OAuth2 / OpenID Connect standards
- Customer authentication and identity solutions at scale
- Customer privacy, data protection and regulatory compliance
- Enterprise solution architecture experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice‐to‐Have:
- Experience with large B2C/B2B identity platforms
- Exposure to cloud and integration reference architectures
- Previous work in regulated or enterprise environments
