• Apply reactive programming principles (RxJS / Project Reactor)

• Contribute to system architecture, performance, and scalability improvements

• Act as a Tier 3 escalation point, diagnosing and resolving complex production issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical documentation

It is essential that prospective candidates have the following skills and attributes:

• 5–10 years of experience in software development (full-stack preferred)

• Strong experience with:

o Angular (TypeScript)

o Spring Boot (Java)

o Docker

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts

• Experience designing and building secure APIs (OAuth2 / OIDC)

• Experience with reactive or data-driven programming

• Strong understanding of scalable system design and performance optimisation

• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues

• Familiarity with DevOps practices (logging, monitoring, alerting)

• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

It would be desirable but not essential that prospective candidates have the following:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Knowledge of geo-spatial data / PostGIS

• Experience with real-time systems (e.g., streaming or chat)
