About The Role Airwallex is revolutionizing global banking, and the EMEA Revenue Strategy & Operations team is key to building our product-market fit and shaping our growth strategy. As part of the EMEA RS&O team, you will lead a team to identify high-impact and cross-functional priorities and support the team to deliver them. Success in this role means that the EMEA team successfully delivers against its commercial growth ambition in the current fiscal year, and makes the strategic moves now to ensure sustainable growth for the future. You will work as part of a lean, data-driven, cross functional world-class team. - Drive in year revenue growth by optimising the go-to-market strategy for Airwallex products and channels, shaping the strategies with detailed local market knowledge, e.g., leading market research to identify new product opportunities, analyzing pricing strategies, implementing data-driven vertical strategies and running go-to-market experiments
- Lead a variety of growth expansion projects to expand Airwallex’ presence in EMEA by partnering with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the business
- Advocate for the ‘voice of the customer’, creating customer centric strategies to improve customer experience, retention and to drive broad product adoption
- Drive competitive intelligence and market understanding across markets to ensure competitive GTM strategies and to inform our relative product market fit
- Shape the product strategy to expand Airwallex’ product offering in EMEA, working closely with senior commercial and product leaders to bring new products to market
- You’re a strategic thinker and analytical in your approach to developing strategies
- You have a bias for action and enjoy getting things done to drive tangible outcomes
- You aren’t afraid to work in ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment
- You enjoy working collaboratively with people across functions and cultures
- You have the ability to simplify & communicate some of the most complex problems to stakeholders at all levels of the business
- 8+ years of work experience, ideally in top-tier strategy consulting, a startup environment and/or in commercial leadership roles
- Strong record in managing teams, coaching junior team members to rapidly develop their strategy and ops toolkits
- Strong analytical skills, including data modelling and working with data reporting tools (Looker, Tableau)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- An outstanding record of academic achievement
- Fintech, financial services or technology experience in a high-growth environment is advantageous
