Blue Prism Developer // London
I'm looking for an experienced Blue Prism Developer to join a growing Process Excellence & Automation environment, delivering high-quality, scalable automations that drive real business impact. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys building robust automation solutions and improving processes across multiple business functions.
This role requires the ability to work part-office based in London on a weekly basis.
The opportunity:
- You'll focus primarily on end-to-end automation delivery, spending around 80% of your time building, enhancing, and maintaining Blue Prism solutions. While you'll typically join after process analysis, you'll also contribute technical insight early on to help shape optimal solution design.
- You'll play a key role in improving operational efficiency through continuous improvement, impact analysis, and the delivery of automations to a high standard.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing end-to-end Blue Prism automations in line with best practices
- Enhancing and optimising existing automations, following strict change control
- Conducting impact analysis to assess effects on wider operations
- Collaborating with Business Analysts and stakeholders on future-state solution design
- Delivering a minimum of 8 completed automation projects per year
- Producing detailed SIT and UAT scripts and leading structured test cycles
- Preparing deployment plans, schedules, environment readiness, and Hypercare documentation
- Supporting production environments, including triage and root cause analysis when required
Key experience and skills I'm looking for:
- Recent (within the last 4 years) hands-on Blue Prism development experience - essential
- Blue Prism Professional Developer accreditation - mandatory
- Minimum 2+ years' experience building Blue Prism automations, including advanced concepts
- Demonstrated track record of delivering 8+ automation projects per year
- Background in software development or system configuration (e.g. C#, C++, Java, or similar)
- Experience integrating Blue Prism with RESTful APIs and web services
- Strong understanding of Blue Prism architecture and infrastructure
- Excellent logical thinking and ability to interpret complex process maps
