Blue Prism Developer // London

I'm looking for an experienced Blue Prism Developer to join a growing Process Excellence & Automation environment, delivering high-quality, scalable automations that drive real business impact. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys building robust automation solutions and improving processes across multiple business functions.

This role requires the ability to work part-office based in London on a weekly basis.

The opportunity:

  • You'll focus primarily on end-to-end automation delivery, spending around 80% of your time building, enhancing, and maintaining Blue Prism solutions. While you'll typically join after process analysis, you'll also contribute technical insight early on to help shape optimal solution design.
  • You'll play a key role in improving operational efficiency through continuous improvement, impact analysis, and the delivery of automations to a high standard.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing end-to-end Blue Prism automations in line with best practices
  • Enhancing and optimising existing automations, following strict change control
  • Conducting impact analysis to assess effects on wider operations
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts and stakeholders on future-state solution design
  • Delivering a minimum of 8 completed automation projects per year
  • Producing detailed SIT and UAT scripts and leading structured test cycles
  • Preparing deployment plans, schedules, environment readiness, and Hypercare documentation
  • Supporting production environments, including triage and root cause analysis when required

Key experience and skills I'm looking for:

  • Recent (within the last 4 years) hands-on Blue Prism development experience - essential
  • Blue Prism Professional Developer accreditation - mandatory
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience building Blue Prism automations, including advanced concepts
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering 8+ automation projects per year
  • Background in software development or system configuration (e.g. C#, C++, Java, or similar)
  • Experience integrating Blue Prism with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Strong understanding of Blue Prism architecture and infrastructure
  • Excellent logical thinking and ability to interpret complex process maps

**You must be based within a commutable distance to London as the role is part office based**
