D365 F&O Application Support Consultant

I'm currently looking to speak with experienced and motivated Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Support Consultants based in Northern Ireland or Ireland, with the flexibility to travel to Belfast or Dublin when required.

As we continue to grow our Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain customer base, I'm looking to add someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced support environment, and wants to deepen their expertise across D365 F&O.

About the Role

This position focuses on supporting and maintaining Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environments for both established customers and newly implemented projects.
You'll work closely with functional consultants, developers, and client-side users to diagnose issues, support updates, and ensure systems remain stable, secure, and high-performing.

You'll have the opportunity to develop deeper skills across core operational areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, and integrations, while making a real impact on day-to-day business performance.

What I'm Looking For

• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong understanding of keyD365 F&O process areas such as:
  • Finance: GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting
  • Supply Chain: Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory, Warehousing, Trade & Logistics
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues across modules, workflows, integrations, and customisations
• Comfortable engaging directly with end users to gather detail, diagnose issues, and provide clear solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Investigate and resolve issues across D365 F&O modules
• Support platform updates, environment management, and release planning
• Validate and test patches, hotfixes, and new features
• Work with Microsoft Support for escalation of complex issues

Essential Requirements

• ERP support experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn
• Ability to work across multiple priorities and customer requests

Desirable Experience

• Hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations
• Exposure to Azure environments or portal technologies
• Third-level qualification in Computer Science or a related field
