DSP Software Engineer (Datalinks)

We require a contract Embedded DSP Software Engineer focused on Software Defined Radio datalink. You will develop, integrate, and test embedded C software within a small, dynamic team, working independently with proactive collaboration across functions. Responsibilities include writing test requirements and scripts for unit, subsystem, and system testing on host and target, running tests and analysing results using debuggers, probes, logic analysers, and oscilloscopes, documenting and designing in UML, integrating with ARM multi-core platforms, FPGA subsystems, and RF transceivers, supporting real-time TX/RX data processing and optimisation, and contributing to SDR datalink system integration and verification. Essential skills: Digital Signal Processing, C, ARM-based testing, SPI/UART/Ethernet/PCIe, DOORS, LDRA or equivalent, SysML/UML, RTOS knowledge (PikeOS or FreeRTOS), DMA, interrupts, shared memory. Desirable: wireless modulation or waveform processing, FPGA or SDR systems.
