Brief

We are recruiting for a front-office aligned Application Support role within the Markets Application Production Services (MAPS) team, supporting EMEA Credit Trading.

You'll work directly with Credit traders, supporting in-house electronic trading, pricing, risk and market data platforms, within a fast-paced Global Markets environment.

The London team consists of 5 specialists, operating as part of a 20+ global follow-the-sun support team across London, New York and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• First point of contact for EMEA Credit traders
• Front-office support for trading, pricing, risk and trade capture platforms
• Ownership of BAU support, issue investigation and resolution
• Major Incident & Problem Management
• Monitoring and alerting of critical trading systems
• Proactive identification of system issues and stability risks
• Release support and enforcement of change management
• Development of tools, automation and efficiency improvements
• Close collaboration with Development, Infrastructure and Global Support teams
• Accurate tracking and reporting of support activity
• Face-to-face engagement with the business (office presence required)

Essential Experience

• Front Office Application Support experience (trader facing)
• Strong knowledge of Credit products, such as:
  • Corporate Bonds
  • CDS (Credit Default Swaps)
  • Credit Indices / ETFs
• Experience supporting electronic trading and risk platforms
• Understanding of market data flows
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Technical Skills

• Unix / Linux
• SQL
• Python
• KDB
• Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Splunk
• ITIL processes
• Grid / distributed computing (nice to have)
