Project Planner - Primavera P6
6 Months | 1 day onsite in West Midlands | Inside IR35
Brief:
Project Planner required to build, baseline and control complex, multi-workstream schedules using Primavera P6, working within a hybrid Agile / governed delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain logic-linked, integrated P6 schedules across multiple workstreams
- Baseline plans, manage updates, replans and change control
- Analyse critical path, float and dependencies
- Lead planning, dependency and risk workshops
- Track progress and produce clear schedule MI for programme governance
- Support delivery teams operating Agile ways of working while maintaining plan integrity
Essential Experience:
- Strong, hands-on Primavera P6 experience (end-to-end planning and control)
- Proven experience planning complex, multi-workstream change
- Baseline management, variance analysis and forecasting
- Experience integrating Agile delivery (Scrum / iterative delivery) into a controlled master schedule
- Confident engaging stakeholders and presenting plan status to governance

- POAP / OnePager visuals
- Cutover or transition planning
- Earned Value / schedule performance metrics
- Public sector / Government delivery exposure
