Senior Data Engineer

Locations: Hybrid - office presence 2-3 days per week across the Midlands & North West (commutable from areas such as Milton Keynes, Northampton, Banbury, Bedford, and Manchester)

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

As their Senior Data Engineer, you won't just inherit a platform - you'll help shape it. The team has made great progress already, moving from traditional warehouses into Databricks and medallion architecture. But there are challenges to solve: transforming unstructured external data into business-ready models, shifting from batch to streaming pipelines, and embedding Unity Catalog governance so the right people can trust and use the right data.

You'll be the hands-on expert who makes this possible, while also mentoring two Data Engineers and setting the tone for how the team grows. With new data leadership joining, this is a genuine chance to influence the platform, the processes, and the people.
