About the Role
Akoni Technologies is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Case Management Specialist to support a large-scale digital transformation programme with one of our public sector projects.
The role focuses on reviewing, enhancing and optimising an existing Dynamics 365 Case Management solution already in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a structured technical and functional review of the current Dynamics 365 Case Management implementation.
- Identify optimisation opportunities across configuration, workflows, integrations and UX.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable D365 solutions.
- Configure and enhance Model-Driven Apps and case workflows.
- Improve user journeys, forms, dashboards and automation to increase staff efficiency.
- Collaborate with data specialists to enable robust management information and reporting.
- Support secure system integrations aligned to “File Once” and data-sharing principles.
- Deliver work packages within agreed scope, timelines and budget.
- Provide structured knowledge transfer to build internal capability.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience (within the last 3 years) transforming business processes using Dynamics 365 for Case Management.
- Proven experience enhancing and optimising a live, in-production Dynamics 365 environment.
- Delivery experience within complex transformation or regulatory programmes.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Model-Driven Apps
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Business Process Flows
- Role-based security and data governance
- Experience improving user experience to reduce operational complexity.
- Experience working with data teams to produce reporting and management information.
- Strong onboarding capability and ability to deliver value at pace.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
- Experience across wider Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Customer Service, Power Platform extensions).
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external AI APIs (e.g., document analysis, predictive analytics).
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party document management systems, ideally Objective ECM.
- Experience working within regulated public-sector environments.
- Familiarity with Azure Integration Services and secure API-based architectures.
