Digital Business Development Manager
My client one of the UK’s leading luxury lifestyle media publishers is looking for an experienced Digital Business Development Manager. You will need to be a driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager to join their expanding digital sales team. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales experience in digital marketing who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and prospect new clients via cold outreach, re-engagement of lapsed clients, and leveraging existing print contacts.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored digital marketing solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, new business opportunities, and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and creative teams to deliver impactful proposals and presentations.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with favourable terms for both the client and company.
- Stay informed on industry developments and emerging digital marketing technologies.
- Track, manage, and report on sales activity, pipeline progress, and performance KPIs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling digital marketing solutions.
- Demonstrated success in business development and meeting sales targets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, etc.).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- A consultative sales style with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace; experience with HubSpot is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events.

£30,000 to £45,000 basic, plus uncapped commission
