Albany Beck are hiring experienced AI Engineers to join our growing team on a deployment with a leading financial services client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to enhance screening performance, including entity matching, risk scoring and alert prioritisation.
- Process and integrate large historical datasets improving data quality through enrichment, deduplication and entity linking.
- Apply NLP techniques to extract risk-related insights from sources such as news, regulatory publications and public records.
- Work with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into scalable screening platforms and services.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics while ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with research and risk specialists to translate investigative processes into AI-assisted analytical tools.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong Python and machine learning skills (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
- Experience working with large datasets, data pipelines and NLP techniques.
- Knowledge of entity resolution, knowledge graphs or search/relevance systems.
- Experience deploying scalable AI models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with MLOps and production ML systems.
- Exposure to financial crime, AML, risk intelligence or compliance technology is a plus.
