Business Analyst – Process Design & Continuous Improvement

Role Purpose

We are seeking experienced Business Analyst's to join our transformation team here at Albany Beck. The Business Analyst (Process Design) will focus on analysing, designing, and optimising business processes that underpin digital and operational transformation initiatives. The role requires strong process-mapping, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills, with an emphasis on simplifying workflows, improving efficiency, and ensuring that technology solutions are aligned to business needs. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Operations, and Technology teams to translate business objectives into process models and actionable change initiatives that improve end-to-end customer and colleague journeys.

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Design

  • Capture and document current-state (“as-is”) business processes, identifying pain points, inefficiencies, and risks.
  • Design future-state (“to-be”) processes that streamline workflows and support digital enablement.
  • Define process controls, KPIs, and success measures to evaluate performance improvements.
  • Identify automation and digitisation opportunities across key process touchpoints.

Change & Delivery

  • Work with product and delivery teams to ensure process changes are embedded effectively across business units.
  • Collaborate with Digital BAs and Technical teams to ensure system designs align with process objectives.
  • Support implementation of new workflows, ensuring appropriate training and communication plans are in place.
  • Track benefits realisation and continuous improvement post-implementation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business leads, product owners, and operational managers to gather requirements and validate proposed solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders on process changes and decision-making.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation, ensuring traceability between business needs, process changes, and delivery outputs.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain process documentation and governance standards.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance through accurate process mapping and documentation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback loops and process performance reviews.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Process Analyst within large-scale transformation or digital programmes.
  • Strong background in process mapping and optimisation (Visio, Miro, or similar tools).
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean , Six Sigma , or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent ability to translate business requirements into process-level designs and actionable outcomes.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with attention to detail and structure.
