Albany Beck is looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join an exciting transformation programme within a leading Investment Bank. The role sits at the intersection of technology, process design, and customer experience, supporting the delivery of innovative, API-driven digital solutions.

About the role

As a Digital Business Analyst, you'll work across product, engineering, and design teams to ensure digital journeys are intuitive, efficient, and seamlessly integrated. You'll translate complex system interactions into clear, actionable requirements - ensuring every API connection, data field, and process flow delivers value to the end user.

What you'll do

• Partner with technical teams to understand API capabilities and dependencies, defining how data fields connect between user interfaces and system payloads.
• Analyse existing digital processes and design future-state workflows that optimise performance, reduce friction, and enable automation.
• Document process flows, data mappings, validation rules, and exception handling to ensure end-to-end visibility.
• Collaborate with UX and product teams to design user journeys and capture screens that align with API structures and data requirements.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, refine user stories, and validate proposed solutions with stakeholders.
• Communicate technical impacts, risks, and dependencies clearly to product owners and delivery leads.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience as a Digital or Technical Business Analyst, ideally within API-led or platform-based projects.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, data schemas, and system integrations.
• Experience creating process maps, workflow documentation, and data flow diagrams.
• Ability to translate technical detail into clear business logic and requirements.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Confluence, JIRA, Visio, or Miro.
• Comfortable working in agile delivery environments with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
