Albany Beck are hiring an experienced Infrastructure & Security Solutions Architect to join our growing architecture team on an immediate deployment with a leading financial services client.

As an Infrastructure & Security Solutions Architect, youll play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic technology initiatives across complex financial environments. Youll work alongside a growing team of architects and security specialists, contributing to long-term strategic planning and large-scale transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end infrastructure and security solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.
• Partner with internal and client-side technology and security teams to define secure architectures and ensure alignment with governance and regulatory standards.
• Lead the design and implementation of security controls, frameworks, and infrastructure best practices.
• Support the transition of architectural designs into delivery, maintaining technical integrity and a strong security posture.
• Contribute to the definition of architectural principles, frameworks, and security standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on infrastructure and cyber security matters.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with strong exposure to infrastructure and security architecture within financial services or other regulated sectors.
• Expertise across cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-premise hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and architectural best practices.
• Experience with network design, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and cloud security controls.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into actionable insights.
