Responsible For:

• Maintain a delivery-orientated approach to developing applications and their supporting software and data infrastructure. Manage releases and support existing systems.
• Working independently and as part of a team to design, develop, test, and implement web-based applications
• Building on and suggesting best practices
• Mentoring other members in the department where appropriate, providing guidance and knowledge transfer
• Delivering well-structured, maintainable, and fully tested systems to time and budget
• Following risk-based project management, IT development methodologies, corporate information security, and corporate UI/UX standards to ensure successful project delivery with strict adherence to coding practices and production of all necessary documentation
• Initiating and implementing productivity and quality initiatives
• Managing and coordinating software releases through to production

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven track record delivering digital web products end-to-end
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, interaction design, and polished UI craft
• Experience with discovery and definition activities such as workshops, journey mapping, and problem framing
• Hands-on experience creating user flows, wireframes, and clickable prototypes
• Strong knowledge of component-based UI design and scalable design systems
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors like SASS
• Excellent knowledge of React.js
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience translating Figma designs into responsive, accessible, production-quality interfaces
• Good knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience in front-end testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library
• Ability to work closely with product and engineering partners to balance user value and delivery feasibility

Ideal Experience

• Experience designing digital products in onboarding / banking space
• Experience running usability testing and using findings to improve designs
• Familiarity with analytics-informed UX improvements
• Experience working with Git and IDEs like IntelliJ and VS Code
• Experience with Node.js
