Albany Growth are partnered with a high growth Tech for Good business who are building products to help disadvantaged people in society. Their platform powers real time coordination across large networks handling millions of user requests and directly impacting accessibility and safety for people.

They’re now hiring a Senior Engineer to take ownership of key backend systems, focusing on stability, reliability and production performance as the platform continues to scale.

What you’ll be doing:

👉🏼 Owning and improving backend systems

👉🏼 Supporting reliability and performance in production

👉🏼 Working with integrations and external services

👉🏼 Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features

👉🏼 Contributing to deployment, monitoring and engineering improvements

Tech stack:

⚙️ Ruby on Rails

⚙️ Relational databases

⚙️ Background processing (eg. Sidekiq / Redis)

⚙️ Cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)

⚙️ APIs (REST / JSON)
