Founding AI Engineer | London | AI Native Consumer Platform | up to £150K + Equity

We’re partnering with a very early stage, well backed start-up building what they describe as an AI native lifestyle platform, using LLMs, agent based workflows and real time data to deliver highly personalised recommendations across travel, health, dining and experiences.

Already seeing strong early traction with a high value user base, they are now expanding their founding engineering team as they scale both product and members.

This is a true 0 to 1 opportunity to work directly with founders and shape both the product and technical direction from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale backend systems using Python and Django
• Own features end to end from idea through to production
• Design and evolve agent based workflows and LLM integrations
• Work with RAG style systems and context heavy data pipelines
• Improve performance across APIs, background jobs and data processing
• Collaborate closely with product and design to ship high quality user experiences

What They’re Looking For

• Strong software engineering fundamentals across system design, architecture and data structures
• Solid hands on experience with Python and backend development
• Experience working with LLMs, AI systems or agent based workflows in production
• Product mindset with a focus on usability, performance and real world impact
• High energy, ownership driven and comfortable operating in early stage environments
