Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

🚀 Senior QA / Test Engineer | Trading Platforms | London Hybrid | £60,000 + Bonus

I’m working with a specialist financial-services business looking to hire an experienced Senior QA / Test Engineer to help drive quality across complex, business-critical trading systems.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with deep testing experience across trading platforms, exchanges or regulated financial environments who enjoys taking ownership of test strategy, improving automation coverage and ensuring stability across integrated systems.

You’ll be joining a highly technical environment where reliability, accuracy and quality are essential.

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving QA strategy across complex trading and financial-services applications

• Designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks

• Building comprehensive regression suites across multiple systems and services

• Performing integration, API, database, performance and end-to-end testing

• Supporting reliable software releases within a regulated environment

• Improving automation coverage and strengthening quality across the full SDLC

• Working closely with developers, product teams and wider stakeholders in an Agile environment

• Identifying risks early and helping ensure production stability across business-critical systems

What they’re looking for:

• 10+ years of experience across QA, software testing and test automation

• Strong experience testing trading platforms, exchanges or regulatory systems

• Buy-side, live trading or financial-services testing experience

• Strong integration-testing experience across multiple systems, applications and services

• Hands-on experience with BDD and TDD methodologies

• Experience with Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG or similar frameworks

• Strong automation experience across Selenium, RestAssured, Postman and similar tools

• Strong API, database, performance and end-to-end testing experience

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments

• Confidence working across Java, JavaScript and Spring Boot-based projects

• £60,000 base salary
