Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

You’ll join a fast-moving product team building data‐driven applications in a modern microservices environment. You’ll embed quality from discovery to release, influence technical decisions, and collaborate deeply with engineering, product, design, and SMEs.

What You’ll Own

Embed Quality Early

• Shape testable user stories and acceptance criteria from day one.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product to prevent late surprises.
• Reduce handoffs by validating features continuously with developers.

Strengthen Automation & E2E Confidence

• Own meaningful, business-critical E2E test coverage using Playwright.
• Improve the signal quality of CI/CD pipelines so they become the source of truth.
• Drive testing across all layers: unit, integration, API, acceptance.

Make Data Quality Bulletproof

• Work with a highly data-intensive platform where accuracy is everything.
• Define explicit, testable data criteria with engineers, product, client success, and SMEs.
• Introduce automated data checks and detect anomalies early.

Elevate QA Across the Organisation

• Mentor engineers and less experienced QA team members.
• Champion practices that reduce defects and increase release confidence.
• Improve how the entire team thinks about and approaches quality.

Requirements:

• Deep experience in QA engineering and modern testing practices
• Strong automation background with Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Hands-on experience in Continuous Delivery environments
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript + Python
• Understanding of microservices and API-heavy systems
• Ability to design meaningful test cases grounded in real user behaviour
• Collaborative mindset + strong communication
• Experience mentoring or levelling up QA capability across teams
• Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to expand test depth and coverage
