Cloud Platform Engineering Lead | Lloyd’s Market Syndicate | London (Hybrid)

We’re partnering with a high-performing Lloyd’s market syndicate investing heavily in cloud and platform capability to support long-term growth.

They’re looking for a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineering Lead to own and evolve their cloud environment (Azure-led, some AWS), driving a secure, scalable, product-led platform across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own cloud architecture, security, and platform strategy
• Build and evolve capabilities across networking, identity, observability, DR and resilience
• Remain hands-on with Terraform, CI/CD and automation
• Embed security by design (NIST, ISO, GDPR)
• Lead cost optimisation (FinOps) and platform performance
• Manage cloud partners and act as senior escalation point

What our client is looking for:

• Strong Azure platform engineering background (AWS beneficial)
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Deep understanding of cloud security, networking and DevOps
• Experience in regulated environments (insurance/FS preferred)
