YOU MUST have experience in a highly regulated or government environment.
I’m currently working with a client delivering complex, modern digital services looking for a Technical BA embedded within engineering teams, not operating on the perimeter.
This is hands-on, delivery-focused analysis across real software builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Analysis & Delivery
- Analyse complex systems across software, DevOps, security, resilience
- Take ownership of unclear epics & shape into delivery-ready stories
- Define scope, risks, dependencies, constraints
- Drive Definition of Ready + ongoing clarity through build & test
Collaboration with Engineering (Core)
- Work daily with engineers, DevOps, architects, testers
- Facilitate technical design discussions + alignment
- Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, usable requirements
- Challenge approaches based on user, operational + technical outcomes
Discovery & Early-Phase Work
- Support discovery + PoC activities
- Shape hypotheses, success metrics, technical assumptions
- Contribute to value cases + outcome-driven delivery
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage across Product, Engineering, Architecture + Business
- Balance technical feasibility vs stakeholder expectations
- Operate across multiple initiatives with constant context switching
What My Client Is Looking For:
- Proven Technical BA experience embedded in software teams
- Clear evidence of:
- Technical user stories written
- Tangible delivery outcomes
- Strong technical awareness across:
- Cloud (AWS / Azure)
- CI/CD (GitLab / Jenkins)
- APIs + containers (Docker / Kubernetes)
- DevOps + non-functional requirements
- Agile / Lean mindset (Scrum / Kanban)
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity + evolving environments
