The Role

As a Senior Manager at Alchemmy, you'll own complex project delivery end-to-end, act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and play a significant role in shaping how we grow — both with our clients and as a business.

You'll lead high-performing teams, develop our people, and help drive the commercial and strategic decisions that define our market presence.

What You'll Be Doing

Client & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client and internal stakeholders, adapting your style to build rapport and sustain long-term relationships
  • Navigate complex and sensitive situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and empathy

Delivery Excellence

  • Own the delivery of complex, multi-workstream projects — managing risk, quality, budgets, and client expectations
  • Operate confidently in ambiguity; delegate effectively and drive accountability across your team
  • Oversee rigorous analytical outputs and ensure insights are evidence-based and actionable

Business Development

  • Shape and execute strategic account plans with a forward-looking commercial lens
  • Lead proposal and pitch development, manage commercial negotiations, and own deal structuring
  • Build and leverage your personal network to identify and convert new opportunities

Company Growth

  • Take ownership of domain development — creating methodologies and thought leadership that address real market needs
  • Bring together cross-functional teams to build capability, share knowledge, and strengthen Alchemmy from the inside

People & Culture

  • Inspire and develop your team — coaching and mentoring consultants and managers in line with company values
  • Proactively identify development opportunities, support succession planning, and contribute to talent retention
  • Champion a culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and collaboration

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering complex consulting engagements and leading teams within a management consultancy
  • Trusted advisor credibility with senior stakeholders — both in delivery and beyond
  • Commercial acumen: comfortable with deal structuring, procurement processes, and pipeline management
  • Excellent analytical oversight — ability to challenge assumptions and ensure rigour in client outputs
  • A natural people leader who coaches, develops, and gets the best from those around them
  • A track record in business development and building lasting client relationships
