Supply Chain Replenishment & Data Insights Analyst 18-month FTC

A role in the National Supply Chain Replenishment Team is a great opportunity to play a fundamental part in shaping the future department, its ways of working and drive business performance.

Do you love turning complex data into clear, useful insights? We're looking for a Data Analyst to help us make smarter decisions to have a meaningful impact on the business!

You will be instrumental in the use of the new Replenishment systems, coordinating and driving our operations. As the department and business continue to evolve with our new systems, so will the role. You will require a proactive approach alongside a high level of multi-tasking and resilience.

The role would require someone confident working with Big Data, analysing trends and making recommendations to achieve aspirational KPI results. Ideally you will have experience of forecasting & Replenishment within SAP in order to maximise the systems capability.

Not only will you form relationships with GB and IE colleagues but stakeholders across all domains in the Aldi global network including Supply Chain, National Buying, NIT, Warehouse and Store Operations teams

Occasional weekend work will be required for this role.

This role is an 18-month FTC. 

Your New Role

Subject matter expertise

  • Data analysis, data maintenance, data representation
  • Ability to create business reports
  • Ability to identify gaps in the new processes and define new ones as required
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to illustrate processes

Business Readiness

  • Data cleansing and readiness of existing systems
  • Process definition and testing
  • Creating training materials
  • Planning and delivery of training to business users

Project management

  • Ensures deadlines are complied with in area of responsibility
  • Provides updates to Deployment Lead
  • Reporting of risks, issues and business readiness status
  • Identification of cross domain risks
  • Identifies and communicates project information necessary for senior management decision making
  • Supports creation and maintenance deployment project plans
  • Supports creation of rollout plans in conjunction with test regions and third parties as required

About You

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Coding experience in SQL and Python
  • Previous analytical working including experience of problem solving in data
  • Ability to identify and create automated solutions
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to present to multi-level stakeholders
  • Organisation skills and ability to proactively work towards challenging deadlines

Desirable

  • Qualifications or ceritications in data science, data analytics
  • Experience in SAP forecasting and replenishment solutions
  • Knowledge or experience in Supply Chain
  • Experience of working in a project
  • Experience of managing change

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working (Moving to 1 day remote working from January 2027)
