BMS Commissioning Engineer

Alecto Recruitment is partnered with a leading and global Building Management Systems (BMS) Provider who are currently looking to hire an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their superb team.

Due to significant success in the securing of a number of large, long-term projects in London, we now are recruiting for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer.

Salary / Package:

• £55,000 - £60,000
• Car or Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including point-to-point checks and panel / wiring panel mods if required.
• Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and Sauter team members and report back with any design or engineering changes or issues.
• Review, configure, and modify project software and graphics as needed.
• Implement panel modifications when required

Requirements:

• Ideally a minimum 2 years' experience of working in the UK BMS industry, in a BMS engineering role, typically as a service, project or commissioning engineer.
• Have a strong understanding of non-proprietary protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and M-Bus along with experience of IT infrastructure and networking.
• Is trained in modifying software and graphics on any leading BMS controls manufactures equipment. (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens).
• Be electrically competent with the ability to understand Control Panel drawings and carryout minor panel modifications.
