The Opportunity
I'm currently working with a well-established and growing AV, UC and collaboration technology integrator is seeking an experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join its commercial team.
This is a great opportunity for someone already established in the AV/UC space who enjoys managing end-user relationships, developing new business, and positioning themselves as a trusted advisor to corporate clients.
The role will involve:
Manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of end-user accounts within the corporate and professional sectors
Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive engagement with end users and technology partners
Leverage existing relationships while confidently developing opportunities from an established end-user customer database
Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client requirements and translating them into effective AV, UC and collaboration solutions
Sell both project-based solutions and associated professional, support, and managed services
Work closely with internal delivery teams and vendor partners to ensure successful project outcomes
Maintain a strong understanding of current and emerging AV, UC and collaboration technologies and market trends
Accurately manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity
This would suit someone who
Proven experience within the AV, UC and collaboration technology industry
Demonstrable success in account management and/or business development roles
Experience selling services (professional services, support contracts, managed services) is highly advantageous
Confident and credible when discussing modern AV and UC solutions
Existing end-user relationships that can be developed further
Commercially minded, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Ambitious, driven, and keen to progress within a growing organisation
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
