Commercial Contracts & Compliance Specialist

About the Company

Headquartered in Denmark and backed by a leading European private equity investor, our partner is a fast-growing European GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) SaaS company. Trusted by Tier 1 clients across highly regulated industries, they are experiencing a phase of significant and exciting growth. With strong recurring revenues and rapidly increasing enterprise contract values, governance, information security, and commercial discipline are central to long-term value creation.

  • Support and coordinate audit processes and act as a key contact for auditors and internal teams.
  • Lead GDPR and data protection governance, including contract-related data protection matters.
  • Maintain risk registers and support business continuity processes.
  • Own the full contract lifecycle: drafting coordination, review, negotiation, execution, renewals, and template updates.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Operations to balance commercial objectives with risk management.
  • Support customer and supplier contractual and compliance queries.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Experience in contracts, compliance, legal operations, or governance, ideally within a regulated or B2B environment.
  • Exposure to audit frameworks and compliance processes.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Knowledge of UK and/or European regulatory frameworks, particularly in data protection.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a standalone role.
  • Pragmatic, commercially aware, and confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
