Agile Project Manager
Alexander Ash are seeking an Agile Project Manager to support delivery within a large, multi-stream transformation environment. The role partners closely with the Squad Lead, focusing on disciplined execution, outcome-driven delivery, and measurable progress.
What you'll be doing
- Own and facilitate agile delivery across the squad — stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
- Keep delivery on track by actively managing risks, dependencies, and blockers across multiple streams
- Define, track, and communicate delivery metrics (velocity, burn-downs, cycle time, outcomes)
- Provide clear, data-driven updates to senior stakeholders
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and wider programme teams to maintain alignment
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master on complex programmes
- Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled agile environments
- Confident facilitator with excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable operating in high-pressure, multi-team delivery environments
- Metrics-driven mindset — you use data to improve delivery, not just report on it
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tooling
- Experience in financial services, banking, or large-scale core/migration programmes
- Exposure to low-latency or mission-critical platforms
- Scrum Master / Agile certification (CSM or equivalent)
