Data Product Owner

Data Product Owner (SAP Analytics Cloud)

Location: Worcester (Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site)

Salary: Competitive + benefits

We’re working with a market-leading organisation undergoing a significant data transformation, and they’re looking for a Data Product Owner to play a key role in shaping and delivering their analytics capability. This position sits within a growing Data Enablement function and will focus on owning the end-to-end lifecycle of data products within SAP Datasphere, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality insights through SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

You’ll act as the bridge between business and technology, translating requirements into scalable analytical models, dashboards, and data products that drive real business value. Working closely with Data Engineers, Modellers, Analysts, and senior stakeholders, you’ll own the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring solutions are aligned to business priorities, governed effectively, and adopted across the organisation.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll also play a key part in driving data governance, enabling self-service analytics, and embedding best practice across tools such as SAC, Power BI, and other BI platforms. You’ll contribute to a broader transformation agenda, helping to build a data-driven culture and continuously improve how analytics is delivered and consumed across the business.

Key experience required:

  • Strong experience as a Data Product Owner / Data Solutions Lead or similar
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – essential
  • Experience with SAP Datasphere and enterprise data modelling
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into data products and analytics solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R)
  • Understanding of data governance, data lineage, and best practice frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, DAMA, Kimball)
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery environments

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team in a business investing heavily in data and analytics, where you’ll have real ownership and the chance to shape how data drives decision-making at scale.
