A leading public sector organisation are looking for a Programme Director to lead the delivery of an established information security programme covering both cyber and data security. The programme is in-flight with multiple workstreams and projects. They are looking for someone with several years information/cyber security programme delivery experience, who can provide some domain subject matter expertise, as well as strategic oversight, executive engagement, programme governance, and selective project-level involvement, managing internal teams and third-party partners to ensure delivery aligns with organisational objectives in technology, compliance, and data protection.
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
- 5+ years specific cyber/information security programme delivery experience leading multi-workstream programmes in complex organisations
- Direct line management experience of 10+ staff and experience coordinating external vendors and delivery partners
- Significant experience in programme governance, including Steering Committee reporting, executive-level updates, and decision-making forums
- Manage programme-level financials, risks, and dependencies, focusing on cyber risk and data security outcomes.
- Engage with senior and executive stakeholders, including the CIO and leadership teams across Data Protection, Compliance, Technology Operations, and Infrastructure.
This is an initial six month, £850-£900/day umbrella/inside IR35 contract role. Hybrid working with 2 days on site in Worcestershire.
