Our client is a UK-based launch vehicle provider committed to environmental sustainability and advancing space capabilities. With the goal of conducting the first-ever vertical orbital launch from the UK, they aim to fill a critical gap in the market by providing cost-effective, sustainable access to space.

Role Overview:
As the Manufacturing Implementation Manager (ERP), you will play a crucial role in optimizing and stabilizing the manufacturing workflows within the (Odoo) system. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in configuration and process management to ensure seamless integration across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering departments. You will manage system changes, updates, and improve the overall efficiency of the ERP implementation, reducing reliance on external support.

This is a full time, permanent role (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of MRP modules, including BOMs (Bills of Materials), routings/work centres, and inventory/traceability processes
  • Drive the stabilization and continuous improvement of manufacturing workflows, including managing changes, releases, and system updates
  • Serve as the primary internal resource for ERP-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and reducing dependency on external support
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and IT teams to understand their needs and drive improvements in system functionality
  • Manage and coordinate with external partners as needed to ensure smooth integration and troubleshooting of system features
  • Support the ongoing evolution of the company’s manufacturing operations by aligning ERP functionality with business needs and process improvements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing setting, with a strong focus on Odoo
  • Proven track record of administration, configuration, and customization, including the ability to analyse and refine business processes within an ERP system
  • In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing and MRP processes, with experience managing BOMs, work centres, and inventory/traceability in an ERP environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in the aerospace, defence, or similar high-tech industries
  • Familiarity with advanced ERP reporting and analytics tools within Odoo
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and change management
