We re working with an innovative company in the space sector who are looking to bring in a Senior Systems Engineer to support the delivery of cutting-edge satellite and space-based projects.
This is a key role sitting at the heart of complex engineering programmes ideal for someone who enjoys seeing the full system come together, from concept through to launch.
The role:
You ll be responsible for leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, integration, and delivery.
What you ll be doing:
- Leading system architecture, requirements, and design activities
- Managing requirements capture, validation, and verification
- Supporting integration, testing, and system-level analysis
- Acting as a technical point of contact across engineering teams
- Driving best practice in systems engineering processes
What they re looking for:
- Proven experience in a systems engineering role (ideally senior level)
- Background in aerospace, defence, or space sector projects
- Strong understanding of the full systems lifecycle (V-model)
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams
