Senior Technical Support Engineer

We're hiring – Senior Technical Support Engineer

From £40k per annum (dependent on experience and skill).

Based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

It’s a hybrid role with a mix of office based and home working.

The role is primarily service desk based and will see you handling ticket escalations, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the delivery of cloud and infrastructure projects.

You'll be working in a fast-faced environment with plenty of variety, from Microsoft 365 to Networking, PC/Server Support and Cyber Security.

We'll help to plug any knowledge gaps and expose you to infrastructure support and project delivery, working with a close-knit team who have years of experience.

Requirements:

- Previous MSP experience working at a 3rd Line Level (minimum 2 years)

- Fantastic communication and customer service abilities

- Take ownership of ticket escalations

- Driving license for customer site visits and office working

- 1-hour drive from our office location in Wakefield

Technical Skills:

- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and Entra ID

- Active Directory and Group Policy

- Network support for LAN/WAN

- Application installation, upgrade, and maintenance

- PC/Server diagnostics

- VMware / HyperV / Proxmox / Veeam

- Windows 11/Server 2019+

- Some exposure to project delivery

Desired but not required:

-Service Desk Leadership or Management
