About this role:
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a motivated Business Development Manager - General & Specialist Contractors in our UK region. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment, working on a cutting-edge SaaS ERP.
The primary focus would be to find, pursue, and maximise sales of Xpedeon ERP software, into General & Specialist Contractors in the UK Construction market.
Key responsibilities:
• Proactively pursue new business opportunities with persistence, resilience and self-motivation, leveraging curiosity and market insight to uncover client needs
• Leverage existing contacts within your construction book of business to generate new leads, uncover opportunities and drive revenue growth
• Achieve sales targets for Xpedeon ERP Software and Services within UK-based General & Specialist Contractors
• Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by the Sales Director
• Prepare, coordinate and submit RFIs and Proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery to secure new business opportunities
• Develop sales strategies and tactics to increase the sales pipeline and improve customer/prospect engagement
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Director, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Support and Implementation teams, to execute plans and meet business objectives
• Maintain strong knowledge of Algorithms’ business, products, services and value propositions
• Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements and competitor activities
• Utilise HubSpot CRM for logging all customer contact and managing the pipeline, and prepare accurate weekly forecasts based on CRM data
Experience & Qualification:
• Proven track record in enterprise sales within the construction technology space (ERP experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of the UK construction market, with established industry connections
• Dynamic, confident and personable, with a passion for problem-solving
• Ability to engage at all levels of a prospect’s organisation, including executive-level (C-suite) stakeholders
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, thriving when presenting to audiences
• Skilled in writing compelling sales proposals and business cases
• Naturally well-organised, recognising the importance of documenting key information
Location:
• Open to both hybrid and fully remote candidates
• Hybrid candidates are expected to work from Algorithms UK Head Office 2–3 days per week
• Regular travel to customer sites and industry events is required as part of the role
