💼 AVP = Mid–Senior level (owning delivery, influencing stakeholders, not a people manager role)

We’re hiring a Data Security Analyst (AVP) to help protect sensitive data across a complex, regulated environment. This role suits someone who combines hands-on data security expertise with the ability to work independently and engage senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage data security controls (DLP, classification, encryption)
• Support and enhance data protection strategy and governance
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and regulatory requirements
• Investigate and respond to data security incidents
• Work closely with business and technical teams to embed secure data practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in data security / DLP / information protection
• Hands-on with tools such as Microsoft Purview, Symantec, or Forcepoint
• Strong understanding of data classification and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of GDPR and financial services regulation
• Ability to operate independently and influence stakeholders
