A specialist consultancy delivering into a major London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Arcus/Salesforce Developer to support the implementation of the Arcus Global Built Environment (BE5) platform. You'll configure modules, develop integrations, build workflows and deliver high-quality technical solutions replacing Legacy Planning, Building Control and Land Charges systems.

This role suits a hands-on developer with strong Salesforce/Arcus expertise and experience working in digital-transformation environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customise Arcus BE5 modules across Planning, Building Control and Land Charges.
  • Build integrations (Planning Portal, NLIS, HMLR, GIS, Exacom, Gov.Notify and others).
  • Develop workflows, case life cycles and public-facing features.
  • Design and maintain data models, UPRN structures and GIS-driven components.
  • Produce unit tests, support controlled release cycles and ensure stable deployments.
  • Collaborate with project teams, SMEs and suppliers to deliver clear, robust solutions.
  • Create documentation, solution designs and support cutover/early-life operations.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong Salesforce or Arcus BE5 configuration and development background.
  • Skilled in Apex, integrations, workflows and data modelling.
  • Experience supporting Planning, Building Control or Land Charges systems (desirable).
  • Comfortable working across multi-team transformation programmes.
  • Clear communicator with strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
